This show right here has got me!! #TheBreaks A show focusing on the #Hiphop scene growing up from its early days in New York. Already 3 episodes deep after the full length feature. With #AvonBarksdale aka #WoodHarris and #BigMike aka #MacWilds from #TheWire 🙌🏾 This weeks episode focuses on #TheNewMusicSeminar based in New York. When I say THIS RIGHT HERE was the DEFINING reason I wanted to DJ after watching the two DJ’s that put me on, @therealdjcashmoney and @djjazzyjeff dominate this battle right here 🙌🏾. Now although I love what they are trying to achieve with this show they have got their time lines kinda mixed up.. the #NMS ran from like 1980 to 1995 this right here is probably 1989 maybe 1990 as they featured #SpecialEd releasing #ComeOnLetsMoveIt in the last episode. This routine is blatantly @djbabuforeal’s routine which he did in the #ITF back in #1997 I think it was. Despite the specific details which I am a stickler for.
