Ok so here we go.!!
Finally got round to seeing my favourite superhero of all time #SPIDEYYY..!!! In #TheAmazingSpiderman2 with the homie Ray Jnr.
Firstly I would like to stress how VERY VERY annoying spoilers are for me.!!! Me knowing about an actor/comedian who I am very fond of by the name of #JamieFoxx @iamjamiefoxx being in the film as the key villain #Electro done me right in, and nearly messed up the whole film for me. I mean yes I was hype regardless but if I hadn’t known what I knew or had to find out against my wishes, it would of taken my hypeness and excitement to a whole new level. Unfortunately that feeling was taken away from me 😏.
Ok so back to the review, and let’s start with the Positives.
When a villain is the star of the show it makes for an excellent foundation in a super hero film, me being a #Marvel fan it’s even better, and OH MY GOODNESS!! The level of effects, cinematography and freeze frame shots were TOO MUCH! They got very close to the comics in terms of Peter Parker’s character, his jokey wit and excitement, also his best friend Harry Osborne was spot on as Harry is an odd ball loner type. Did that wickedly. Everyone knows I love the suit from time and still need to own 10 of them. The action scenes one in particular in #TimeSquare 👏👏👏 Bravo!!
Electro’s voice when he was in the lab..!!! YESSSS!!! That Phased out flange voice with bass in your chest 👏👏👏👌👌 Electro dispersing into atoms and feeding into the power supply #Exquisite , Jamie’s suit when he reformed on the top floor then leaning over to feed into to cities mainline.. #EPIC Harry reformed as the Hob Goblin #Tremendous I mean I could go on and on for another 3,000 words but let me just RELAX myself.
Ok there are a few negatives. things like laptops in full working order in a plane falling out the sky with the window gone with mass air suction loss I will let slide for now in this Hollywood world, BUT what I will not leave alone is
1. For a man to be bitten and contaminated by a spider bite resulting in super healing powers and a super immune system, how the rasssss is dude walking into a drug store and buying cold/ flu medicine sneezing over the counter..!!😏 and
2. Where were these guys going with that brasss rendition of Rhino in that power rangers suit and great dialogue (NOT) to enter centre stage and end the movie????? are you nut??? errr NO
now due to these negatives I wanted to deduct a point each, but Ray said I was being too harsh so I am deducting half a point for each of them resulting in my score to be 9/10
Excellent film and I’m still hype about it, will watch it a couple times again watch 😊
